Ulrike Müller studied theatre arts, comparative literature and German studies in Munich and Berlin before becoming an assistant director and dramaturge in Munich’s Studio Theatre and Theatre 44, in Berlin at the Volksbühne Rosa-Luxemburg Platz and the Vaganten Bühne, and the Kleist Theatre in Frankfurt (Oder). After freelance work in the casting offices of Ana Davila, Annette Borgmann and Karin Müller-Grunewald, Ulrike Müller established her own casting office in 2003.

“Every project, whether cinema, television, theatre or commercial, is a new challenge requiring full dedication and an individual approach. Through my close collaboration with the director and the producer I am able to assemble a unique cast ranging from film and theatre actors to new discoveries. My research covers not only German-speaking countries, but also many actors throughout Europe as a whole. Here, I pay particular attention to creating a strong and dynamic ensemble.”
